Siqwes Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Siqwes collects when you sign up for one of our free educational email series, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We've kept it short and plain.

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to siqwes.com and to each Siqwes niche site:

  • business.siqwes.com, Siqwes for Small Business
  • education.siqwes.com, Siqwes for Educators
  • realestate.siqwes.com, Siqwes for Real Estate Agents
  • assistants.siqwes.com, Siqwes for Executive & Admin Assistants
  • bookkeeping.siqwes.com, Siqwes for Bookkeepers

Right now, Siqwes offers only free educational email series: the free 5-day educational series on each niche site and the free Everyday AI educational series (three lessons) on siqwes.com. "We," "us," and "Siqwes" mean Siqwes. You can reach us at support@siqwes.com.

2. What we collect

When you sign up for the free series, we collect:

  • Your email address, so we can send the series.
  • The site you signed up on (for example, education.siqwes.com).
  • Your first name, if you choose to give it.
  • Your time zone. When you sign up, your browser shares its time zone setting (for example, America/Chicago). We save it with your signup so your lessons arrive in the morning where you are.
  • Answers about your work, if the form on that site asks. Depending on the site, this may be your role, the tools you use (for example, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), or your type of business (on business.siqwes.com, including a short description if you pick "Other"). The form shows which questions you can skip.
  • How you reached us: campaign tags from the link you used, if it had any (for example, UTM source, medium, and campaign), and the website that sent you to us, if any (only its address and page, never the rest of the link), so we can see which links bring people to the free series.
  • A record of your consent: the signup wording you saw and its version, the date and time you signed up and confirmed, and the page you signed up on.
  • Your email status: whether you've confirmed your address or unsubscribed, the dates you signed up, confirmed, or unsubscribed, and whether you've opted in to (or out of) occasional updates.
  • Bounces and spam complaints that our email service reports to us.

If you email us at support@siqwes.com, we also receive your message and your email address.

We don't ask for your phone number, your home or business address, or any payment details.

Our signup forms don't store your IP address or browser type. They save only your time zone setting, as described above.

3. Why we use it

We use your information only to:

  1. Send you the free series you asked for.
  2. Send your lessons at a good time in your time zone.
  3. Tailor lesson examples to your work.
  4. Keep proof that you agreed to receive our emails.
  5. Honor your unsubscribe and make sure we don't email you after you've opted out.
  6. Keep our sites and email list secure and working, for example by removing addresses that bounce.
  7. Reply when you contact us.
  8. Meet our legal obligations.

4. The emails you'll get

  • A confirmation email. After you sign up, we send one email asking you to confirm your address. If you don't confirm, we don't send the series.
  • The free series. One lesson a day after you confirm: the free 5-day educational series on a niche site, or the Free Everyday AI educational series (three lessons) on siqwes.com.
  • A note about our paid membership (niche sites only). Day 5 mentions a paid membership that is coming soon. When it opens, we may send you at most two emails about it within 10 days. Siqwes for Bookkeepers: we won't send any emails about the membership.
  • Nothing else, unless you opt in. After that, we won't email you again unless you choose to receive occasional updates, which we send at most once a month.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribes right away, and always within 10 business days at the latest.

5. Who helps us

We use these service providers. They handle your information only to provide their services to us.

  • Cloudflare hosts our sites, stores signups and consent records in its database on our behalf, and routes email sent to support@siqwes.com. Privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
  • Brevo sends our emails and keeps your subscriber and unsubscribe status. Privacy policy: https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/
  • Google (Gmail) receives and stores the emails you send to support@siqwes.com. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

6. Cookies and tracking

  • We don't track opens or clicks by person. Our email service, Brevo, still puts a small tracking image and tracked links in our emails. We've set Brevo so that opens and clicks aren't linked to you or your email address, and we see only overall totals, such as how many people opened an email.
  • We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't use third-party trackers on our sites.
  • We don't set cookies, other than any strictly necessary cookies that Cloudflare uses to keep the sites secure.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your choices and requests

  • Unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
  • Ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@siqwes.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
  • Deletion removes your details from our database and from our email service. Emails you've sent us are moved to our inbox's trash and permanently deleted within 30 days. We keep only a "do not email" entry, so we don't email you again, and the consent record described in section 7. After deletion, both are stored under a hash of your email address, not the address itself.

We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live.

9. Age

Siqwes is for adults 18 and older. Our sites are not directed to children. If we learn that we've received information from a child, we'll delete it.

10. Educators and student information

We don't collect information about students, and please don't send us any. The education.siqwes.com form asks only about you and has no free-text fields. Our lessons teach you not to paste student information into AI tools. If you send us student information by mistake, we'll delete it.

11. Bookkeepers and client information

Please don't send us client information or tax information. We don't accept it. If it reaches us by mistake, we'll delete it.

12. Where we operate

Siqwes operates in the United States, and our marketing is for US residents. Your information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.

13. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.

14. Paid memberships

Paid memberships are coming soon. When they launch, we'll update this policy before anyone can buy one.

15. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the update here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we'll also tell subscribers by email.
